For the past couple of weeks, I've been going back and forth in my head on whether to put up a pink and white striped or plain light pink fabric piece behind the head table at my daughter's birthday party. After seeing Amy Atlas' blog, she has now convinced me to definitely go for the striped version. It would match my invitation design anyway.
I'm also planning to put up paper bunting banners reading, "Happy Birthday" and "Madeline". I have so much to do!
I would love to do a striped background like this for a baby shower. I have been looking on line for tablecloths, fabrics, paper...what is the best way to execute this striped background? Thank you, so much. borstbonnie@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI could be wrong, but that striped background seen in the photo could be wrapping paper. Try searching for striped paper or wrapping paper. You might also want to look into www.fabrics.com for their striped fabrics, but it would be heavier than hanging fabric. Or how about using different shades of pink and white long ribbons and having it hang down along the wall? That would look real pretty.
